Test Standard : 1786:2008, Reaffirmed 2013
Test Appratus :
- Electronic weighing balance
- steel scale.
Test Procedure :
- Test sample shall be prepared by Saw cutting the reinforcement to required length (L) (Say 1000 mm).
- Weight the test specimen shall be noted, Say (M, gms).
Weight per metre of specimen (M) = Mass of specimen (Kg)/Length of the specimen (1m)
Mass per metre of specimen shall be reported to upto three decimal places for diameter of reinforcement upto 12mm and two decimal places for diameter greater than 12mm.
